Sykes (Purston) Ltd was founded in 1965 by Leonard Richard Sykes, its foundation was supply and install all manner of joinery products within its locality. In 1983, the company diversified into the pub and hotel refurbish business.

Since then, projects have been undertaken for clients including Concorde BGW Group, Holiday Inn, Marriott Hotels, Elizabeth Hotels, Xscape Yorkshire, Harrods London and Enterprise Inns.

Now, we focus on mid-to-large projects and have the capability to deliver to any specification from general joinery work to intricate bespoke projects that push the boundaries of design. Our high quality craftmanship and great attention to detail means we take all the hassle out of repairs or improvements to your business.

The Federation of Master Builders

The Federation of Master Builders (FMB) is the UK’s largest trade association in the building industry, with national offices in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, supported by additional regional offices.
